Steven and Donna have been designing hair together for decades. Their approach and philosophy is to capture the personality of the hair and complete the coexistence of the cut and the color. As specialists in their respected fields, Steven began his coloring career in 1984, and Donna began her styling career in 1980. They never fail to create individualized cuts and color for each guest. The couple also educates industry professionals on a national and local level, sharing their “simple” yet ” intricate” approach to design with the industry they love.

Born and raised in New York, the couple moved to Colorado with their five children in 2001. Loving life at the foot of the mountains, they opened “The Studio” in 2008–a private sanctuary where their guests could leave with an individualized cut and color and a comfortable feeling towards life. The Studio t functions as the foundation for their educational offerings, where they conduct private or semi-private seminars with professionals in the industry.

Knowing from a young age that I had a true passion for hairdressing, I worked to get my hairstyling license at age sixteen. It is a pleasure to meet so many people with unique personalities on a daily basis. My clients are always providing me with fresh inspiration, and my coworkers and mentors at the studio do just the same. I pay attention to what’s trending in fashion each season, and I also look to modern architecture and nature to fuel my creativity.

My goal is to consistently further my education and grow creatively.

I truly love to help people feel beautiful. Through my work and our place of business, my hope is that each of my clients will leave feeling rejuvenated, just as I do every day.
